faq
do i need to have a company to apply?
No, you can apply with an idea and leverage the time at the hacker house to build it.
do you sponsor visas?
unfortunately, we cannot sponsor visas for this edition. if needed, we'll direct you to the right processes. generally a one-month tourism visa should be enough.
can i come with my co-founder?
if all co-founders are technical, we're open to considering the entire co-founding team as residents. alternatively, your co-founders can have access to the co-working offer and the talks.
i live in paris. can i join the hacker house?
yes.
what do you consider within the scope of ai?
we are very open. robotics, application layer, ai infra, ai/ml for drug discovery, computational biology, physics simulations, hardware for inference or training, and more.
do you cover flights?
flights are the applicant's responsibility for this edition.
i still have a job/phd, can i still come?
yes. as long as you have a clear commitment to using your time in the house to build your startup idea.
can i attend virtually?
no. we believe in the power of serendipity and building high-talent-density environments; hence, all members must attend the house in person.
